If you DIY'd your website, OR you're in the middle of building one in a website template, and you find yourself saying "I'm not quite sure what I'm doing... I just don't want to be jumbling random pieces together"...

This is for you.

A website audit done through a UX lens, so every page does its job for the real person on the other side of the screen.

What nobody gave you along the way was someone looking at it from the outside, the way your future client sees it.

You already did the hard part. You picked the template, wrote the copy, and braved the backend of your website (even the scary parts!)...

that's sooo much more than most people ever get to.

Templates and tutorials are great at showing you where things go.

They just never tell you whether your homepage makes sense to a stranger in 5 seconds, whether your booking button is where she's looking for it, or whether Google can even find you.

In fact, a second set of strategic eyes is THE answer to finally knowing your website is built properly... whether it's been live for a year or you're still piecing it together.

A few things I've noticed after building dozens of websites...

  • Your website is usually the first place a potential client checks after she finds you on Instagram... so it's often helping her decide yes or no before you ever talk to her

  • So much of what makes a site work is easy to miss from the backend: the order of your pages, where your buttons sit, what your images are named, how it reads on her phone

  • Often what your site needs is the right small fixes in the right order... not a full redesign

  • And once you know what to fix and why, you'll look at every page you build after this one with the same eyes

Right now you might be clicking back and forth between your homepage and your services page for the third time this week...

Moving a section up, then back down, then wondering if anyone will even scroll that far.

Buuuuuuuuuuut no matter how many tutorials you watch, you still can't tell if your website is actually working...

And you might be:

→ Stuck in the Showit backend at 10pm, nudging a text box a few pixels to the left because you're not sure WHAT actually needs fixing... when that time was supposed to go to your clients (or your weekend)

→ Getting DMs from potential clients asking "so how do I book with you?"... even though it's all right there on your website. And really wanting your site to answer those questions for you, but not being able to because the path from homepage to booking isn't as clear to her as it is to you

→ Really wanting to feel confident your website is built properly... a real foundation your business can grow on, but not being able to because it came together one tutorial at a time and no one's ever looked at the whole thing with strategic eyes

Before leinameg studio, I spent years on tech teams at big global brands, building features for apps and websites used by millions of people.

My whole job was paying attention to how real people actually used what we built... where they got confused, where they gave up, and what made them take the next step.

What if you knew exactly what to fix on your website (and in what order)... PLUS you could finally stop second-guessing every page and get back to your clients?

I KNOW you've put sooo much into building your website... and I believe you deserve to know what's working (and what's not) without starting over from scratch.

So I took that lens, plus everything I've learned from building dozens of websites for women like you, and created The Honest Edit: a full audit of your site that shows you what's working, what's not, and exactly what to fix first.

It's everything that's hard to see from inside your own website... and it's the KEY to a website you can finally hand your link out for without a second thought.

That's exactly how I look at every website now... from the outside, the way a stranger landing on your homepage for the first time sees it.

Investment starts at $497

And I've taken ALL of this, my years building apps and websites for millions of people plus dozens of websites for women like you, and poured it into one Loom walkthrough and a written list of priority fixes... so you know exactly what to work on next, all without paying for a full redesign or spending another month guessing.

Here are just some of the things I look at that make The Honest Edit sooo much more than a quick once-over:

When someone lands on your homepage, she decides almost right away whether she's in the right place. I'll tell you if a stranger can see who you help and what to do next before she even scrolls... so the people you're meant to work with stick around.

The 5-Second First Impression

Most people will see your website on their phone first, often straight from your Instagram bio. I'll check every page on mobile, so what looks beautiful on your laptop doesn't turn into tiny text and hidden buttons in her hand.

Mobile Experience

Mismatched fonts, colors, or spacing can make a site feel pieced together, even when the content is great. I'll flag what to tidy up and where your testimonials and about page can do more, so your website feels as established as your business really is.

VISUAL CONSISTENCY

I'll review your page titles, descriptions, image names, and alt text, and suggest 3-5 keywords to build your pages around. That way, all the work you've put in can actually be found on Google, not only through Instagram.

SEO Basics SUPPORT

For your homepage and one key page, I'll map out the order your sections should go in. You get a clear layout to follow, so you're building with a plan instead of jumbling random pieces together.

Your Recommended Page Flow

Your offers make total sense to you... you live with them every day. I'll show you where your words might be losing someone new, so she understands what you do and who it's for without having to DM you to ask.

Messaging + Offer Clarity

A button in the wrong spot is easy to scroll right past. I'll point out where your calls to action should go, so she always knows what to do next, right when she's ready.

CTA Placement

I follow the path a potential client takes from your homepage to your booking page, click by click. You'll know exactly where she might get lost, so going from "ooh, this is interesting" to "I'm booking" feels easy.

Navigation + User Flow

Here's what changes when you know what to fix..

  • Spending your evenings in the Showit backend, moving things around without knowing if any of it is actually helping...

  • Pausing before you drop your link in a DM and adding "it's still a work in progress!"...

  • Answering the same "how do I book with you?" questions over and over...

  • Wondering if your website is built properly, or just pieced together one tutorial at a time...
  • Opening your laptop with a short list of priority fixes, knowing exactly where to start

  • Sending your link the second someone asks for it... no disclaimer needed

  • Getting an inquiry from someone who read your website and already knows she wants to work with you

  • Being the business owner who built her own website AND built it right... and finally knowing it

to...

The website audit for DIYers who want a second set of strategic eyes on their site, so you know exactly what's working, what's not, and what to fix first... without paying for a full redesign you might not need.

And if you want to talk it through together?

I spent 10+ years across hospitality, marketing, product development, and UX... including building new features and stress-testing apps and websites used by millions of people at global brands like lululemon and Starbucks.

Then I traded the corporate ladder for a one-way flight to Europe and built leinameg studio to bring all of that to women building businesses on their own terms.

Now I look at your website the same way I looked at those apps... through the eyes of the person landing on it. Dozens of websites later, my clients have booked new clients within a week of launch, landed speaking gigs, and raised their rates with confidence.

Corporate dropout. Travel lover. The designer who actually thinks like your client does.

hi i'm leina.

(and treats your business like it's my own.)

My website isn't finished yet... is it too early?

frequently asked questions

Not at all! Some of my favorite Honest Edits are for sites that are still in progress. Catching things mid-build means you fix them once, not twice. As long as your main pages have something on them, I can work with it.

Do I need to be on Showit?

Showit is my home base, so it's where I can get the most specific with you. I also work with Squarespace/Wix. On another platform? Send me a DM before you book and I'll let you know if it's a fit.

Will you make the changes for me?

The Honest Edit is designed for you to make the changes yourself, with a clear plan in hand. My notes are in plain language and ranked by priority, so you'll know exactly what to do.

If you'd rather hand it all off, a Design Day Intensive or Website Sprint might be a better fit... Fill out the inquiry form either way and I'm happy to help you figure out which one!

Do I need to get on a call?

Nope! The Honest Edit is 100% async, so you get everything through Loom and a written summary.

If you'd love to talk it through live, or make changes together in real time with my direct input, you can add a 45-minute Edit Session at checkout for $147.

How long does it take?

You'll get your Loom walkthrough and Priority Fix List within 2-3 business days.

What happens after I book?

You'll get a short form where you share your website link and a bit about your business and goals. Then I get to work, and your Honest Edit lands in your inbox within 2-3 business days.

Why is this only $497?

Because sometimes your website doesn't need to start over... it needs the right fixes in the right order.

As a business owner myself, I know firsthand that we're all at different stages, and not every season calls for a full redesign.

I created The Honest Edit so you can get a strategic eye and a clear plan from me, wherever you're at right now... without the investment of a full redesign you might not need at the moment.

Couldn't I just ask AI to review my website?

You totally could, and it'll probably catch a few things! But AI only knows what you tell it plus what it's read about websites in general. It doesn't know your audience, your offers, or what made your last few clients book... so it tends to hand everyone a similar best-practice list. It's also built to be agreeable, so it rarely tells you the hard stuff (that's what the "honest" in The Honest Edit is for!!).

Your Honest Edit is built around your business and your future client, and it tells you what matters most for YOU, in the order you should fix it.

What's your refund policy?

Since every Honest Edit is custom work I do personally for your website, there are no refunds once you've booked.

If you're not sure it's the right fit, send me a DM before you book and I'll tell you honestly whether it is.

You already did the hard part and built it. Now let's make sure it's working for the real person on the other side of the screen.
