Lika is the founder of Refined Books Co. — a modern, intentional bookkeeping and financial advisory studio helping creative solopreneurs, brand designers, web designers, and copywriters go from financial chaos to running their business with clarity, structure, and confidence. She came to me with an existing brand and website she genuinely loved the direction of, but knew it wasn't doing enough.
The site was beautiful, but it had been built for aesthetics over strategy. Navigation was unclear, her offers were hard to find, and the messaging didn't fully capture who she is or the depth of what she provides.
The real design challenge was twofold. First, bookkeeping is an industry that can feel intimidating and inaccessible: Lika needed her site to make a traditionally daunting topic feel approachable, digestible, and even joyful. Second, her visuals had played it safe for too long. She was ready to evolve — to keep what she loved and push it further.

Beautiful AND built to convert
→ Her existing neutral blush palette was kept as the foundation, then pushed further — ruby wine, muted olive green, and hints of buttercream yellow added depth, contrast, and a personality that finally matches the boldness of her brand vision.
