Portfolio Highlights
Emily is the functional nutritionist behind Emily Werner Nutrition... a practice helping women calm inflammation, heal their gut, balance their hormones, and finally feel like themselves again.
With a Master of Science in Human Nutrition, her CNS® on the way, and specialized training in gut and hormone health (including GI-MAP testing), she brings real science to every plan she builds. But what makes her truly different is that she's lived it. Years of being dismissed by doctor after doctor, all while climbing the ladder as an advertising executive in New York City, before finally discovering she had stage 4 endometriosis.
She came to me with the credentials, the client results, and a story that so many women would see themselves in... but no digital home that held it all together or made it feel as personal as her work actually is.

Emily's audience had grown in two directions: women struggling with gut health and weight loss, and women navigating endometriosis and cycle health. Her website needed to hold both without feeling split down the middle.
So we started with her messaging, getting clear on who she serves, what each woman is feeling when she lands on the page, and how to guide her to the right place without making her think twice. From there, I designed a layout that lets every visitor choose the path that fits her symptoms, all within one seamless experience.
→ Credentials, GI-MAP testing, and real client results are woven in naturally alongside a soft, warm palette, earthy palette. Expertise you can feel, without the site ever reading like a doctor's office.
Science-backed, not sterile
→ Custom illustrated icons (an intestine with a heart, a gut under a magnifying glass, a rose for cycle health) turn a topic that usually feels clinical into something approachable, a little playful, and unmistakably hers.
Making the gut feel friendly
→ From burnt-out NYC ad exec to stage 4 endometriosis diagnosis to functional nutritionist. Emily's story isn't tucked away on an about page, it's woven right into the homepage. Because for a woman who's been told "your labs are normal" one too many times, knowing Emily has been there too changes everything.
Her story is the trust-builder
→ A "find your starting point" structure that splits gently into Weight Loss & Gut Health and Endometriosis & Cycle Health. Visitors find their path in seconds, while the copy reminds them that symptoms rarely live in isolation... and Emily will look at the whole picture either way.
Two paths, one practice
When Emily came to me, she was running on a website she'd built back in 2020... and she had evolved IMMENSELY since then. The site didn't feel like her anymore, and she wasn't proud to send people there.
Her business was shifting too. Alongside her gut health and weight loss offer, she'd launched a new 1:1 coaching program for endometriosis and cycle health. Her Instagram was naturally leaning toward that audience, but her website still only talked about gut health. She had two audiences, two offers, and no idea how to bring them together in one place without confusing anyone.
Emily now has a website that finally reflects who she is today and where her practice is headed.
We rewrote her entire messaging and copy from the ground up and designed the layout so that both of her audiences feel right at home.
Whether a woman arrives with bloating and IBS or with painful periods and endo symptoms, she can choose the path that matches what she's feeling in seconds, and it all feels like one seamless experience. Emily gets two offers and one cohesive brand that she's genuinely proud to share.
