Portfolio Highlights

Rachel is the photographer behind Forever Framed — a Midwest-based photography studio specializing in outdoor elopements and intimate weddings for couples who want something deeply personal over something perfectly produced. She came to me with a treasure trove of stunning imagery, a clear sense of who she is, and zero web presence to show for it. No website, no brand, no place to send the couples who were already looking for exactly what she offers.

The design challenge was about trust and resonance above all else. Rachel's ideal clients aren't searching for a traditional wedding photographer — they're looking for someone who gets them, who understands that simplifying the day doesn't mean sacrificing the magic. Her brand needed to speak directly to that couple, the ones who'd rather exchange vows on a canyon ridge than in a ballroom, and make them feel instantly: she's our person.

Every decision was made in service of one feeling: this is exactly the photographer we've been looking for.

The visual language needed to feel as warm, intimate, and unhurried as the elopements Rachel captures.

The Approach

→  An earthy palette rooted in terracotta and warm desert tones, paired with typography that feels like it belongs on a trailhead sign — rugged, unique, and quietly romantic. Outdoorsy without being rustic.

Terracotta, texture, and the open road

→ Abstract shapes, handcrafted elements, and custom iconography — a backpack wrapped in wildflowers, mountain silhouettes, open landscapes — woven throughout to give the site a personal, lived-in warmth that feels as special as the moments Rachel photographs.

Scrapbook soul, timeless structure

→ The layout was built around Rachel's imagery first and foremost. Her work is her greatest asset — the site was structured to showcase it fully, letting the photos do the trust-building before a single word is read.

Let the photography lead

→ Copy and structure crafted to speak directly to her ideal client's desires and hesitations — couples who want something intimate and intentional, not overwhelming. The right people feel seen immediately. The wrong fit self-selects out.

The Result

Rachel now has a digital home as beautiful and intentional as the moments she captures — a brand and website that tells her story, showcases her work, and connects her with the couples who are already looking for exactly what she offers.
