Portfolio Highlights
Lauren is the maker and educator behind Laurieloo... a sewing blog and resource hub for women who want to learn to sew, make their own wardrobe, and find real joy in the process. She came in with a site that had a clear voice and a genuine community, but a platform that couldn't keep up with where she was taking the brand. The vision was bigger than a blog. It needed a real home.
The new Laurieloo needed to do more than look good. It needed to hold a growing content library, a shop with digital patterns and resources, a freebie opt-in, and an editorial blog... all while feeling like the warm, joyful, deeply personal space that Lauren has always created. The goal was a website that finally matched the energy she brings to every single post.

Laurieloo isn't just a blog... it's a whole world Lauren has built stitch by stitch. The site needed to feel like stepping into that world immediately.
Every decision was made to reflect the handmade, joyful, intentional spirit of the brand while creating the structure to actually support her growing offers and content.
→ The brief was basically: make it feel like pure joy. Bright, editorial, full of personality... a site you smile at before you've even read a word.
Joy as the design direction
→ The blog and reader favorites are front and center because that's where Lauren's community lives. The architecture was designed to pull people in and keep them exploring.
Content first, always
→ The new site isn't just a blog. It's a platform that holds her shop, her patterns, her blog, her opt-in, and her about page all in one cohesive space that's easy to navigate and built to scale.
Built to hold a growing ecosystem
→ From illustrated graphic elements to the gingham textures and playful type, every visual detail was chosen to feel like it came from Lauren's hands... warm, creative, and unmistakably hers.
Designed around the maker's world
Before the Website Sprint, Laurieloo was sitting on a site that didn't match the brand Lauren had grown.
The old website did not have any visual or brand strategy and completely generic built on a basic Squarespace template — nothing that communicated the warmth, creativity, or depth of what she'd built. It felt like a basic blog when Lauren was ready to be so much more than that.
The pivot from style content to sewing education needed a platform that could actually hold that new direction with intention.
Laurieloo now has a digital home as joyful and intentional as the work Lauren puts into everything she makes.
The brand has a real platform now... one that can grow with her, hold her community, and finally reflect the creative world she's been building all along.
