Portfolio Highlights

Phillis is the founder of PB Travel Co. — a boutique travel advisory studio designing stress-free, deeply personal journeys for couples and families celebrating life's most meaningful milestones. A third culture kid who has lived in 10+ countries, Phillis brings a lifetime of worldly experience to every trip she designs: authentic local connections, cultural immersion, and an instinct for creating moments her clients wouldn't have found on their own.

She came to me busy with referrals but with no website, no brand, and nowhere to send the people already looking for her. Her story — the thing that sets her apart from every other travel advisor — had no home.

The design challenge was clear: build something that didn't just introduce Phillis, but made her experience felt. Because her background isn't a credential to list. It's a superpower. And it needed to show.

Every decision was made in service of one feeling: I already trust her, and I haven't even reached out yet.

The visual language needed to feel as calm and considered as the travel experiences Phillis designs — sophisticated enough to signal expertise, warm enough to feel like a friend.

The Approach

→  A clean, minimal layout rooted in browns, neutrals, and generous white space — designed so that the moment you land on her page, the overwhelm lifts. The site itself mirrors what Phillis promises: less stress, more presence.

Calm as a first impression

→ A custom world map woven into her about page, letting her decade-spanning life across 10+ countries speak for itself — showing off without showing off. Because that kind of lived experience builds trust no itinerary list ever could.

Her story is the strategy

→ Passport stamp graphics as playful, intentional nods to a life actually lived across the globe — small details that make her brand feel personal, specific, and unmistakably hers.

Details that do the storytelling

→ Serif typography and a restrained, neutral palette give PB Travel Co. a quiet luxe feel — approachable enough for the busy new parents, refined enough for the couples who value quality and care over flashy brand names.

The Result

Phillis now has a digital home as intentional and cinematic as the journeys she designs.

A brand and website that tells her story, earns trust before the first inquiry, and makes every future client feel like they already know her — and can't wait to reach out.
